April 11, 2006 - Marlborough Stirling Canada is proud to share with its customers some exciting international news from its parent organization, Vertex.
Vertex, a leading international provider of outsourced business services and technology solutions, has been ranked 22nd by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) and now forms part of the ‘leaders category’ in the first ever ranking of the world’s top outsourcing providers - The Global Outsourcing 100. This list appeared in a special advertising feature in the April 3, 2006 issue of FORTUNE® magazine.
The IAOP, a US-based trade association, is a highly acclaimed global organization shaping the future of outsourcing as a management practice, as a profession, and as an industry. IAOP was formed in January 2005 by Michael F. Corbett, one of the field’s best-known and most-respected experts, working with a consortium of forward-thinking outsourcing customers, providers, and advisors.
Vertex’s significant achievement of being ranked in the top 25 of the new global outsourcers list was based on rigorous qualification criteria against which the company was audited. Those categories judged included Vertex’s size and growth in revenue, customer experience and management capabilities, depth and breadth of competencies and investment in the development of people, processes, and technologies.
"As the global standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession, IAOP is pleased to be able to recognize Vertex as one of the world’s top outsourcing service providers for 2006," said Michael F. Corbett, Executive Director, IAOP.
Experts in business process outsourcing, Vertex beat stiff competition and were ranked above major Global BPO names such as Hewitt Associates, WNS, Perot Systems, SAIC, Sitel and BT Global Services, playing testament to the company’s various accomplishments, recognitions and industry based differentiators.
Commenting on the company’s respectable position in the global list — Vertex North America CEO John Mcleod said, "I am delighted that Vertex has been recognized as one of the world’s top outsourcing service providers as we celebrate our 10th year in business. The company delivers critical services, such as customer relationship management, billing, collections and numerous other processes, on behalf of our clients. Vertex transforms the processes which support a client’s business to maximize the value of their brand at a competitive price using both onshore and offshore locations. This latest achievement further acknowledges Vertex as a top international BPO player with a fast growing business in the North American Energy and Financial Services sectors."
